“Freeze DNA came to Cornell for a free, comic art workshop for approximately 200 of our students. The teachers felt that the students really enjoyed the presentation. They were engaged, participated enthusiastically and came up with great results. The artist used humour to quickly establish a positive rapport with the students. Some classes have extended their learning and are developing their own comic books!”

“Our junior students were fortune to have the opportunity to participate in an exciting and educational session with Freeze DNA.”

“The session was well paced, very interactive, focused and widely applicable. I was pleased to see all the members of the Freeze DNA organization encouraging students and looking for bright spots to recognize within the student’s work. Our group of over 200 students left the session with a wide collection of their own drawings and feeling truly inspired to broaden their art skills.”

“Freeze DNA staff were professional and very accommodating. It was clear that they were committed to building artistic interest and skill in the children and seeing them become successful.”

“My students loved it and thought it was very well-run and organized. The artist was funny and flexible. He engaged the kids and was able to connect with the things they are interested in. I know many of my students were positively surprised and inspired to see how well they could draw with his step-by-step instruction”

“Yes, I thought it was great. The kids really enjoyed it as well. The presenter made the artwork seem easy to do with super results. The step-by-step process allowed kids who are artistically challenged, or not comfortable in their abilities to come up with excellent results. It was well run and held the kids interest to the end.”
